Alpha Version Disclaimer

Meeting Pilot is currently in Public Preview Alpha and is provided on an "as-is" basis for evaluation and testing purposes only. This is not a production-ready product.

Data Storage

In this alpha version, all data entered into Meeting Pilot is stored exclusively on your browser's local storage. No data is transmitted to our servers. Data may be lost if you clear your browser cache or use private/incognito mode. We do not back up browser-stored data.

Entertainment Use Only

Meeting Pilot should be used for entertainment and evaluation purposes only. This product should never be used to track real work, manage actual business operations, or process production data. Any business-critical information or real-time data should not be entered into this application.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meeting Pilot and its developers are discharged from all liability for:

  • Data loss or corruption
  • Service interruptions or unavailability
  • Any damages resulting from use or misuse of this product
  • Loss of business, revenue, or opportunity
  • Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

No Warranty

Meeting Pilot is provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We make no representation that the product will meet your requirements or that it will be error-free.

Use at Your Own Risk

Your use of Meeting Pilot is entirely at your own risk. By using this product, you acknowledge that you understand these terms and accept all associated risks.

Company Information

Meeting Pilot is developed and maintained by a team based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use and all matters relating to your use of Meeting Pilot shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada for the resolution of any disputes.

Binding Arbitration

Agreement to Arbitrate: By using Meeting Pilot, you agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of the product, or any other matter shall be resolved by binding arbitration rather than in court, except as provided herein.

Arbitration Process: Any arbitration shall be conducted in Vancouver, British Columbia, under the Arbitration Act of British Columbia. A single arbitrator shall be appointed to hear and decide the matter. The arbitrator shall apply the laws of British Columbia and shall have authority to award any relief that a court of competent jurisdiction could award. The arbitration shall be confidential, and the cost shall be borne equally by both parties unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.

Exceptions: This arbitration provision shall not apply to: (i) any claim brought by Meeting Pilot to enforce its intellectual property rights; or (ii) any claim that qualifies for relief in small claims court.

Privacy and Data Protection (PIPEDA Compliance)

Meeting Pilot complies with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Canadian data privacy legislation. This section outlines our data practices:

Browser-Based Data Storage

All user-entered data is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage. We do not collect, store, or process personal information on centralized servers. No data transmission occurs between your browser and our infrastructure, except for:

  • Hosting infrastructure provided by Vercel (for static site hosting only)
  • Analytics services from Alphabet (Google Analytics) for aggregate usage statistics only

These services may collect limited non-identifying usage data in compliance with their respective privacy policies. No personal information entered into Meeting Pilot is transmitted to these services.

Sub-Processors and Third Parties

Meeting Pilot uses the following third-party service providers (sub-processors):

  • Vercel, Inc. - Hosting and content delivery network provider. Vercel does not process personal data from Meeting Pilot beyond providing infrastructure services.
  • Alphabet Inc. (Google Analytics) - Analytics service for aggregate website traffic and usage patterns only. No personal information from Meeting Pilot is shared with Google Analytics.

All sub-processors are contractually obligated to maintain data confidentiality and security in accordance with PIPEDA and applicable Canadian laws.

No Sale of Personal Information

Meeting Pilot will never sell, lease, or share any personal information or data collected through the application. Any data entered into Meeting Pilot remains under your exclusive control. We do not monetize user data in any form. This commitment applies to all information, including but not limited to:

  • Information stored in browser-based local storage
  • Usage patterns and analytics data
  • Any identifiable or non-identifiable information

Your Privacy Rights Under PIPEDA

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

  • Access information about what personal information, if any, has been collected
  • Correct or update personal information
  • Request deletion of data from browser storage at any time
  • Opt out of non-essential tracking or analytics

Since all data in Meeting Pilot is stored locally on your browser, you maintain full control and can delete your data at any time by clearing your browser cache or local storage.
